An operating plan gives an overview of how you plan to provide your services and the day-to-day operations of your practice. When preparing your operating plan, you should include the following:

1. Practice Layout

  • Describe your practice. How many treatment rooms do you anticipate having? What about private offices or staff spaces? A generic layout is not useful, but if you know exactly what your practice will look like, include a layout or blueprint.
