When you've narrowed down the candidates, you're ready to interview! This is your chance to learn more about a potential employee and see if they are the right fit for your practice. Even if you've never interviewed before, don't worry. The more interviews you conduct, the more comfortable you will be with the process.

Some helpful tips for interviews:?

  • Begin the interview with a general summary of the position, description of your office and mission statement. Then discuss the requirements of the position and how it fits into the overall office. This provides the interviewee a chance to relax, listen and prepare to answer questions.
