Before you begin to practice or think about applying for a loan it is important to know and understand your credit rating. This is one of the first things your lender will check, so you don’t want any surprises at that crucial time.

You are allowed one free credit report every 12 months from each of the three major consumer credit bureaus:

  • Equifax
