Integrative Practice Considerations

Whenever you’re making a decision in life, it’s good to make a list of pros and cons. Although the items below aren’t necessarily cons, they are things you should think about as you’re making plans.

  • Liability may be an issue – Having an integrative practice with other providers may mean additional risk for you and your practice. Like with any practice decision, this is something to discuss with your malpractice and other insurance companies before making any changes.
  • Others may not be familiar with chiropractic – You’ll likely be faced with providers who feel negatively about the chiropractic profession. Whether they don’t understand it or have heard misinformation, they may not be welcoming right away. If you know this ahead of time, you can be prepared.
