A website is likely the first thing that comes to mind when you think about your practice’s online presence. Before you invest a lot of time or money into a website, there are a few things to keep in mind.
When selecting your domain name, make sure you choose one that is not trademarked or already taken. See if the name you want to use is available to purchase on sites like Domain.com, Bluehost.com or GoDaddy.com. Then, check the United States Patent and Trademark Office Database to see if it is trademarked.
